Green Beacon on excavators
Solution Plant Hire is taking onsite safety to new levels with the fitting of the new “green beacon??? system on equipment such as Excavators.
The Green Beacon device is a new requirement on certain high profile work sites, implemented to increase safety by acting as an alert system on all plant equipment, which when illuminated informs fellow workers that it is safe to approach the machine.
The green beacon has not yet been implemented on all worksites, but it is a step forward for the safety of all operators and other personnel, and will most likely be picked up on other sites going forward.
